I have been meaning to post this blog titled 'living with mother' for a long time. Maybe there is a writer somewhere deep inside. I pray this will be the beginning of something new, and especially for others, informative and uplifting.
My mother - the wife of a Bishop (Minister of Religion) mother of 9 Children, 27 grandchildren and 13 greatgrand-children. She knows how to pray and intercede for her family. She believes that every child belongs to her, when she prays she always have in mind the picture of a basket where she places all the children of the world to be protected from harm and danger.
As an immigrant, mother arrived in London in her late 70's. She was not well and had to leave her husband to stay with her children in London to be cared for. After suffering an Aneurysm there was not much she could do as she was slowly recuperating. She lived in Abbeywood SE London for most part of her early years in the UK. After a while she desired to live with me the last girl and number eight of nine siblings.
Sometimes I wondered if secretly I was my mom's favourite. She has this lovely big Bible which was given as a gift and there.... on the front cover is a picture of me safely tucked behind a protected plastic.
